Composable commerce frontends
I build storefronts against headless commerce backends — commercetools with Frontastic, Shopware, Shopify. SSR with Next.js, componentised catalogue and checkout surfaces, and the integration work between the frontend and whatever the client's commerce, PIM, and ERP stack already is.
Performance and testing as delivery, not cleanup
Cypress and Vitest coverage written alongside features rather than after them, focused on the critical flows. Performance treated as a budget the build enforces, not a report someone reads later. On a client storefront I raised the Lighthouse performance score from around 60 to around 80 through image and JavaScript optimization.
AI-assisted delivery, verified
I build agentic workflows that take a ticket end to end — parse it, investigate the code, implement, run a verify loop, generate the tests. My job shifted from writing to reviewing. The output is always checked; it is never trusted blindly.
Review-first.
The agentic workflows I build produce code faster than I could write it. That only helps if the review step is real, so the loop is designed around verification: every change runs against tests before I see it, and I read the diff as if a stranger wrote it.
This is the part people get wrong about AI-assisted engineering. The speedup is not in typing. It is in being able to spend the same hours on logic and edge cases instead of boilerplate, documentation, and test scaffolding.
I work asynchronously across Vietnam and EU timezones, which forces the same discipline: written decisions, small reviewable changes, and documentation that exists because it was generated as part of delivery rather than promised for later.

DaNangRoots&AsyncDiscipline
I am based in Da Nang and have spent most of my career working with European teams, which means most of my working habits were shaped by async collaboration and written decisions.
Remote preferred (worldwide/APAC/EU-async all fine); Da Nang onsite/hybrid fine; relocation abroad acceptable only with visa sponsorship + relocation package. Comfortable with EU-morning overlap and full APAC overlap. Holds 5-year multiple-entry Korea visa (tourist type).
Outside client work I mentor frontend for university students at S-GROUP, a non-profit in Da Nang where I was mentored myself when I started. I also mentor junior engineers at work.

DirectCommunication
Available for senior frontend and composable commerce roles, EU remote overlap, or relocation.
